Common Data Set
A collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and various information publishers to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided regarding student transitions into higher education.
The Graduating Student Survey
Distributed annually to graduating students during the spring semester.  This survey asks graduating students to assess their college experiences and progress; rate their satisfaction with the aspects/services of the University, and to relate their opinions regarding university policies.  The report provides valuable feedback to the administration, faculty and staff of the University.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
Assesses the extent to which students are engaged in empirically derived good educational practices and what they gain from their college experience (what they are putting into and getting out of their college experience).
Retention and Graduation Reports
Summaries and tables of first-time freshman and transfer student retention and graduation rates at the University, college and program levels.
Campus Climate Survey
Summaries and tables relating to the campus climate at Sacramento State, particularly with respect to intergroup dialogue regarding issues of diversity on campus.
SNAPS
Reports on the Student Needs and Priorities Survey. SNAPS assesses the concerns, opinions, satisfaction, and needs of students related to quality of instruction, access to programs and services, campus climate, and perceived barriers to attainment of educational goals.
CASPER Survey Results
A student survey conducted each semester at the time of registration for classes. Each student is asked to answer two questions prior to completing the registration phone call or web session. The CASPER survey reports in this section go back to the fall 1995 semester.
Housing Survey
A Web-based survey distributed to Sac State employees with the intent to assess from the employee's viewpoint what the greatest challenges are regarding housing and what types of assistance programs would be most beneficial.

Faculty Survey *
Assesses faculty opinions of their disciplines at Sac State. Used for program self-study and as additional indicators of program quality. Assesses faculty perceptions of teaching, scholarly excellence, curriculum, resources, department procedures and the learning environment.
