The Entering Student Survey
Distributed annually to first-year freshmen, this survey asks entering students to assess their college experiences and relay how well the University has met their educational expectations.  This report provides valuable feedback to the University at-large.

The Graduating Student Survey
Distributed annually to graduating students during the spring semester.  This survey asks graduating students to assess their college experiences and progress; rate their satisfaction with the aspects/services of the University, and to relate their opinions regarding university policies.  This report provides valuable feedback to the administration, faculty and staff of the University.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
Assesses the extent to which students are engaged in empirically derived good educational practices and what they gain from their college experience (what they are putting into and getting out of their college experience).
Retention and Graduation Reports
Research, reports and tables of first-time freshman and transfer student retention and graduation rates at the University, college and program levels.
Campus Climate Survey
Summaries and tables relating to the campus climate at Sacramento State, particularly with respect to intergroup dialogue regarding issues of diversity on campus.
Alumni Surveys
Used in the effort to assess the quality and effectiveness of Sacramento State educational programs and support services. The results are used by departments and programs in the self-study portions of Academic Program Review.
Community Outreach Surveys
It surveys the community leaders in the areas of arts and culture, economic development, education, human and social services, and public policy to assess the effectiveness of the University’s community outreach. The survey results help to determine in what ways Sacramento State is being successful at fulfilling our role as a regional partner and leader in the community.
